As M opens today’s episode, there is really nothing left
to say at this point except, “Oh Job.”
How our hearts continue to break for him. In the loss. The grief.
The physical pain. The accusations of the “miserable comforters”
he is struggling to still call friends.
How many of us have been or even are there right now?
Oh friend.
And then there is this… Longsuffering. Not a word any of us would like to have used to describe our times of struggle but so often this is the only word that actually seems to fit in those seasons. Thank goodness M also spends some time leaning into Job 19:25-27 and learning what Job is referring to when he declares, “But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives.”
OOBT friends, you certainly don’t want to miss this one!
